We know that brussels sprouts aren’t everyones cup of tea. Which is why our chef Mark has put together this easy to follow recipe to encourage even the fussiest of eaters to try this humble festive side.
Ingredients:
400g of sprouts
4 rashers of bacon
50g of almonds
Knob of butter
1.Peel and prepare the sprouts. Partially boil them for 5 minutes, then strain and chop.
2. In a frying pan, melt a knob of butter and add in some diced bacon until crispy.
3. Add the chopped sprouts to the pan with the bacon and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
4. Toast almonds in a baking tray in the oven for 5 minutes.
5. Serve the cooked mixture in a bowl and top it with the toasted almonds.
Please note: You can change up or down your quantities to suit. Enjoy!
